NBA players jumping into the stands and taking punches at fans. Fans throwing all sorts of things at the players. Bizarre. <br /> <br />Of course, the fan who threw the drink first is guilty of bad behavior, but the players who jumped up and stormed the stands, and started throwing punches, are more than guilty. They have to be above that type of behavior. <br /> <br />I'm reminded of the football game between the Cleveland Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars a few years ago, in Cleveland. Fans became upset at a ref's call and started throwing things at the Jaguars players -- mostly their beer bottles, just as the game ended. 1000s of bottles were thrown -- some filled with beer or water -- along with other objects. Very ugly scene that went on for some time. "<em>That's why you always keep your helmet on on the road,"</em> Jaguars coach Tom Coughlin said.<em> "That was bad. That is not football. Not like I know it." <br /></em> <br />The Jaguars players left the field while being pelted with anything the unruly fans had in their hands. BUT - they did leave the field.
